Privacy Notice — United States
Last updated: 6 September 2026
This notice applies to US customers and callers. Customers elsewhere are covered by our standard privacy notice.
1. Who we are
The service is operated by AI Ring Rescue (the "US Operator"), which is the business responsible for personal information collected through your account.
2. Information we collect and why
- Contact and account details (name, business name, email, phone, login credentials) — to create and run your account and provide the service.
- Business configuration (services, prices, hours, service area) — to configure your receptionist.
- Call and enquiry records (caller name, phone number, address, job details, transcripts and summaries) — to answer calls, book jobs and give you a record.
- Support messages — to answer your questions.
- Usage and technical data (device identifiers, IP address, log and telemetry data) — for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and product improvement.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers or information about children under 16. Payment card details are collected directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your full card number.
3. Calls, recordings and consent
Calls handled for your business may be transcribed and summarized. Where state law requires one-party or all-party consent to record or monitor a call, you are responsible for the notice and consent given to your callers; we provide configurable call-opening disclosures to help.
4. How we share information
- Service providers — hosting, telephony, AI model providers, email and support tooling, under contracts limiting them to our instructions.
- Paddle, as Merchant of Record, for payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
- AI Ring Rescue, as platform operator and service provider.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition or license transfer.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
5. Retention
We keep account and configuration data while your account is active and for up to 12 months afterwards. Call records and transcripts are kept for 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Records needed for tax, accounting or dispute purposes are kept as long as the law requires, then deleted or anonymized.
6. Your rights
Depending on your state — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to know or access the personal information we hold, to receive a portable copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling (we do none of these), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents may also request details of categories collected, disclosed and the purposes involved.
To exercise a right, use the enquiry form on our US homepage. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where permitted. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission. If we deny your request you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact your state attorney general.
7. International transfers
The platform is operated from the United Kingdom, so information may be processed in the UK, the EEA and the US under contractual safeguards.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access and row-level database isolation so each business sees only its own calls. No system is perfectly secure.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to run the checkout. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but sign-in will not work without the essential ones.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this notice when our practices change and revise the date above. Questions or privacy requests: use the enquiry form on our US homepage.
